I just returned from meeting my peers at a consultant conference. I will be learning more SQL to help clients extend the dashboard feature of ACT! 10+. The trend I see is to help people leverage the data they already have to make informed decisions.
Currently, a great program to help people get started with the dashboards is TopLine Dash.

September 3, 2008 by Mark MondoSo, I just finished up the physical production on my ACT! 2009 training films. As Sage stated, no major features were added between 2008 and 2009.
But, what they worked on was Outlook integration.
In ACT! 2009, they added a feature where if you set up rules in Outlook, it will AUTOMATICALLY attach incoming emails to existing ACT! contacts.
Now I can actually run a rule in my existing inbox to attach 3000 email messages from my inbox to ACT!
Pretty Cool.
